Margaret Miller Fisher

Mrs. Fisher, age 91, of Charlotte, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at her home. Born October 25, 1920 in Mecklenburg County, she was a daughter of the late John Wilson Miller and Margaret Davis Miller. Mrs. Fisher was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church which she loved deeply and served faithfully. She enjoyed watching birds at the feeder, cross-stitching beautiful pieces of art and playing bridge and scrabble.

The service to celebrate the life of Margaret Miller Fisher will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 31st at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include son, Barry W. Fisher and his wife, Mary; daughter, Donna D. Fisher; granddaughter, Kelly M. Fisher; step grandson, Michael Yenik; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 31 years, Arthur W. Fisher; sister, Mary Henderson; and brothers, Louie, Ralph, Leonard, Cletus and John Miller.
