Margaret Ann Grey Shaw, 68, of Charlotte died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at her home. Born in Gaffney, SC on April 25, 1943, she was a member of the Revealed Word Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and will always be loved, remembered and missed by countless friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Carson Edward Shaw, Sr.; daughters, Laura McDaniel and Denise Starnes; step-children, Wanda Breeden, Rita Sayles, Belinda Burkman and Carson Shaw, Jr.; sisters, Rebecca Mauldin and Diane Roberts ; brothers, James Grey and Charles Grey; grandchildren, J.C., Hunter, Kaleb, Kody and Joslyn. Preceding her in death are her parents, James Scott Grey and Ollie Alvis Grey. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service. The Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with Reverend David Pollard officiating. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
