She was greeted by her loving husband of 64 years, George Paul Harth, her son Paul Harth, her father Luther Brooks and her mother Gladys Brooks.
Margie grew up in Miami and was a graduate of Miami High. She studied at Stetson University where she met her husband George. They resided in Miami their entire married life and also enjoyed a seasonal residence, along with lifelong friends, in Black Mountain North Carolina.
Margie was a member of the Miami Women's Club. She served and touched the lives of many during her 38 years at Stanton Memorial North Shore Baptist Church as Music Director and organist. She went on, in retirement, to be the organist and continue to serve, with her husband George, at Miami Shores Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Harth Butler and husband Walter “Buck” Butler, her grandchildren Chris Harth and his wife Debbie, Zach Butler and wife Natalie, Ashley Conner and husband Tyler, and 6 great grandchildren.
Margie was blessed by many wonderful caregivers through the years, Christine Beasley, and the many exceptional and loving caregivers after her move to Charlotte. During her final days she was under Hospice care. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region, P.O. Box 470408, Charlotte, NC, 28247.
A memorial service will be held at the Miami Shores Baptist Church, 370 Grand Concourse, Miami Shores, FL 33138 on August 25th at 3:00 in the afternoon. Arrangements were made by McEwen Funeral Service in Charlotte North Carolina.
