I'll always have the chidlhood memory of Mrs. O'Boyle taking evening walks by our house on Whistlestop Rd. with her beloved dog Sassy. She was always so pleasant to speak with and never too busy to stop and have a conversation with a neighbor. We loved her always-cheerful attitude and smile. Our thoughts and prayers to the entire family. I'm sure that she was an exceptional mother, grandmother, & great grandmother and will be missed. May she rest peacefully. God bless.

Marianne was a wonderful neighbor and friend who will be missed terribly. I loved her wit and her kind, sweet manner - and the fact that she always had a way of making me feel appreciated for no reason at all. I hope the family finds comfort in knowing that others share their grief and feel a huge void in our lives with Marianne's passing. She was a very special lady.

Thoughts and prayers are with your framily! I worked with Marianne a number of years ago at Ivey's! She was one my very favorites to work with. Such a dear, sweet woman! I also learned a lot from her about how to treat customers. She was a consummate professional. I am sure there are folks all over the Charlotte area whose lives she touched.
