Marion Knight Adams

Mrs. Adams, age 81, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home. Born July 1, 1933 in Union County, she was the daughter of the late Glenn H. Knight and Gladys Craven Knight. Mrs. Adams had most recently been a greeter at Wal-Mart. She had previously worked as a private duty nursing assistance for Elder Care and as a customer service representative for Duke Energy. Mrs. Adams was a devoted member of Eastway Church of God where she and her husband taught one of the many outreach ministries provided by the church.

The Service to Celebrate the Life of Marion Knight Adams will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Eastway Church of God with her Pastor, Reverend Dan Carter, officiating. Interment will follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Thursday at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Willett A. Adams, Sr.; three sons, Glenn C. Adams of Kannapolis, David W. Adams of Charlotte and Mark A. Adams of St. Louis; daughter, Mary Cloer of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a son, Willett A. Adams, Jr.
