Born on September 27, 1960, Mark was raised in Columbia, South Carolina, and graduated from Irmo High School. He spent most of his life working as a painter, a trade that reflected both his dedication and his creative spirit.
Mark was known for his deep soul and the way he wore his heart on his sleeve. His sense of humor and love for family made him a cherished presence in the lives of those around him. A devoted fan of Gamecocks football, he found joy in cheering on his team and sharing that passion with others.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Joshua Tolley, Jeremiah Tolley, Lauren Barrett, and Kayla Houser; and by his grandchildren: Troy, Natalie, Anabelle, Grayce, Austin, Jackson, Ashton, Avery, Nora, and June. He also leaves behind his siblings: Elizabeth Tolley, Rebecca Tolley, and Joe Tolley.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin "Al" Tolley and Carolyn Tolley; and his brother James Tolley.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
