Martha West Andress

Martha West Andress, 89, of Gastonia, NC passed away on December 7, 2017, at home with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Andress succumbed after a long illness. She was born May 19, 1928 in Fairmont, W.Va. She was the daughter of Mr. L.B. and Edith West.

Martha was a member of the Nazarene Church, where she and her husband worked as minister and wife for many years in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.

Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Robert (Bob) Andress; son, Robert Andress II and wife Gloria; daughter, Sharon Andress Jackson and husband Ronnie. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Ms. Kimberly Andress Kilic, Mrs. Julie Jackson Wolfe and husband Greg, Mrs. Jill Jackson Kenney and husband Matthew and Ms. Katie Jackson. She also had 7 great grandchildren who were all loved greatly.

Mrs. Andress was preceded in death by her granddaughter Ms. Kecia Andress.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Trinity Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mark Barns officiating. The family will begin receiving guests at 11:00 am.
