Martha R. Fox

Our wonderful mother, Martha Rose Fox, 73, of Charlotte N.C. passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024. Martha “Marty” was born on November 28, 1951, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Wade H. Fox “Papaw” and A. Juanita Fox “Mamaw.”

She was preceded in death by her brother Jack Stallings and sister Janette Cooke and survived by her brother, Robert Fox. She is also survived by her four daughters, Lori Dalton of Indian Trail, Alisha Rothman of Concord, Jessie Dillbeck of Mooresville and Christy Dillbeck of Charlotte.

The most important name she went by was Grandma “GM Valley” to her fourteen grandchildren, Ron Dalton Jr, Aaron Dalton, Lorin Dalton, Brandon Dillbeck, Aamon Dalton, Adysen Rothman, Jordan Nance, Jeffrey Rothman, Rex Locke, Kaytlen Nance, Jacob Locke, Amilyah Rothman, Lucas Locke and Quinton Henderson.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC; followed by burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery at 2:15 pm.
