Martha Hardin Laws, 94, passed away Nov. 14, 2011 in Charlotte. A native Charlottean, she was the daughter of the late Edward Berkley and Harriette R. Hardin, and the widow of Charles B. Laws.
She was a member of Myers Park Baptist Church. She was the beloved mother to two daughters, Shelley L. Kelley and husband Ernest of Richmond, VA; daughter, Elizabeth L. Reeves and husband James of Philadelphia, PA, their two daughters, Elizabeth Hardin Reeves and Emily R. Reeves; and many dear nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 16th at 3 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel at Southminster Retirement Community.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
