Marty was a wonderful guy, loved his kids and wife, actually all his family. Great barber and he made the best fruitcakes.

Marty was a friend and my barber since 1981. I will miss him very much. Heaven has the best barber to take care of their hair needs for many millennia to come. Love you Marty!! Kay, your family is in my prayers.

I'm saddened to hear of Marty's passing.  He was an honorable, Christian gentleman.  He's been my exclusive barber for the past ten years.

I was so sorry to hear about Marty's passing.  I have many many fond memories of taking my boys to his shop to get a hair cut. Many times I'd drop them off but sometimes I'd stay and just visit and talk with Marty and the men who found a friendly place to just sit and talk there.  We talked gardens and politics and who my family was.  He seemed to know everybody and had an opinion on just about everything.  Once my kids were grown I was delighted to find that he and my husband were Mason brothers together and we had a chance to catch up. Still the same wonderful, friendly and funny man.
Please know that your family is in my prayers. An important part of my history and the neighborhood is gone and he will be missed.

Aunt Kaye, Lisa, Kelly, Cora and family:  We will miss Marty and his ready smiles.  Take care of yourselves and we will all see each other again in the future that was created by Christ for his servants.

Though I only new him for a few years, I was a better person for having met Marty.  He was clearly a kind and honorable man that made the world a better place by example. He will be missed and remembered always.

We were so sorry to hear about Marty's passing.  He was a good Christian man. We had our gun shop next to Marty's shop for quite a number of years, and he was such a fine man, and we are blessed to have known him.

Thoughts and prayers to Martie's family. He was such a kind hearted man who always had a smile for everyone he spoke with. It was a blessing to me to know him. Hope you find comfort in knowing with his faith he is now with our Heavenly Father.

We always said that Dad would not go anywhere without his hair cut and Marty came and cut it just before he died... We will never forget it...
