Mary Blackwell Coley , 75, of Mt. Holly, NC died Nov. 23, 2017 at at her home in Mt. Holly, NC. Mary was a native of Chesnee S.C. and the wife of the late Billy Don Coley and daughter of the late Rev. Thomas M. Blackwell and Julia Mae Blackwell.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Sue Phillips of Mt. Holly & Mary Ann Wagner of Florida; son Billy Don Coley Jr., and Beth Coley of Mt. Holly; Three grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Mary worked for BI-LO grocery stores for over 30 years and retired 10 years ago. She was a member of Berryhill Baptist Church in Charlotte where she loved helping and volunteering. She also enjoyed her friends and made the most of traveling with them as much as she could.
Mary loved life and had a deep love for Jesus, she was always there for everyone who needed her, she will be deeply missed but will live in our hearts until we are together again.
Visitation will be held at Berryhill Baptist Church, 9801 Walkers Ferry Rd. Charlotte, NC 28214, on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 12pm with a service to follow at 1pm. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
