Born in Red Springs, Texas, Mary later made Charlotte, North Carolina, her home for over 45 years.
A woman of deep faith, she was a devoted member of her church community and dedicated much of her time to serving others in ways that reflected her love for God.
Mary found great joy in gardening, nurturing both plants and the people around her with care and devotion. She cherished time spent with family and was especially devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Talbert, brothers, Larry Talbert, Gene Talbert, and J.B. Talbert; daughter, Jo Ellen Hall; and husband, Harley Henderson. She is lovingly remembered by her son, John Henderson, and his wife Betty; daughter, Sondra Roach, and her husband Tom Bianchino.
And by her grandchildren Natasha Hall, Jessica Roach, Jeri Pressley, and Amber Pressley; as well as great-grandchildren Elizabeth Pauley, Brandy Davis, Faith Davis, Jasmine Davis, and Bradford Pauley, Sophia Pichardo, Dahlia Fain, Alexander Trombetta, and Sora Trombetta, and many extended family members and friends.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will continue to inspire those who knew her. We will always cherish our time spent with her and she will be greatly missed. May she rest in eternal peace.
Special thanks to Nancy and Pam from Cabarrus County Hospice for their compassionate care.
