Although born in Philadelphia, Kip was raised in Atlantic City and Baltimore. She was an artist and a sales associate for JcPenney for many years, and served in many church and charity-related activities. Kip always had a soft spot for animals and those who were less fortunate than her. She was a kind, gentle and selfless individual with a gift for connecting with people, and making them feel valued and appreciated. She deeply touched many lives, often within the first contact, and will be missed by those fortunate enough to have known her.
Kip is survived by her husband, Louis Custrini, her son, Robert Custrini and his wife Kathy, and her granddaughter, Alice, whom she adored.
A memorial mass and reception will be held at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 6828 Old Reid Rd, in Charlotte, on June 7th at 10:15 a.m.
