Mary was one of my best friends at college. We enjoyed our lunchtimes together and sharing English literature classes. She often drove me and our other friend Pat to the bus stop at Pelham Bay so we could return home easily.  Mary and Bobby and my future husband and I shared the CNR graduation boat ride together with lots of laughter.
Mary and I married the same day, June 18, 1966 so we couldn't attend each others weddings. Oddly enough, without planning, we met the next morning at JFK where Mary and Bobby were headed for Nassau and my husband and I for Jamaica! 
Mary and Bobby surprisingly visited me in NH several years ago. I have nice memories and pictures of the visit.
My last time with Mary was at our CNR reunion in 2015 when she kindly hosted me at her beautiful Scarsdale home with her faithful dog. We then met our friend Pat and her husband Bill for the festivities. 
I will truly miss Mary's sweet spirit and memorable friendship. May she rest in peace with her beloved Bobby.

So sad to hear of the passing of our dear cousin whose company we enjoyed on her visits to Ireland and our visits to New York City. She was so truly Irish in her sense of fun, her faith and her delight and pride in her family. We will be thinking of all of you, Kay and John whom we know so well and those of you we know mainly through Mary's glowing reports, as your mourning unfolds.
