She was born in Greeneville, TN. Mary met her husband of 48 years in Miami, Florida and together they moved to several cities with job transfers and traveled the world. After a successful career in the cosmetics industry, she then became a gifted and recognized quilter. She worked with color and fabrics to create beautiful award winning works of art.
Mary is survived by her husband, several relatives in Rockwood and Greeneville, TN, and many friends in NC. She enjoyed her role as landlord hosting guests from around the country at their log cabins outside Blowing Rock, NC. After the impact of Covid-19, we were to unable to continue active travel on cruise ships so she spent many happy hours in her quilting studio at her home in Charlotte, NC.
