

Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Arnold Ramsey and her daughter, Melissa Love. She leaves behind her son, Macky Bundy; her daughter, Cathy Caridi; 18 grandchildren; her older sister, Elizabeth Chappalear; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Sue also leaves behind Bubbles, her loving loyal dog, who never left her side and in whom she found a best friend.
Sue was the youngest child of ten, born to J.K. and Luttibell Dudley in Bennettsville, South Carolina. Sue attended Bennettsvile South Carolina High School and McIntyres Beauty College. For 17 years she was employed with Woolco and then Minnesota Fabrics, as a Human Resource Manager. In her spare time she enjoyed working to organize and host social functions and trips for the senior citizens of her church, and prided herself on being an active church member.
Sue was a witty, loving and caring women. She loved to cook, was a skilled and avid card player and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, and late night QVC shopping. She loved country music and singing along to her favorite George Jones records. Sue enjoyed hosting family reunions and bringing everyone together with food, laughs and conversation.
Sue was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many. Countless memories of her will be cherished and live on in all those lucky enough to have known her.
Family, friends and those whose lives she may have touched are invited to attend McEwen Funeral Home Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28210 on Monday, January 3, 2022. Visitation will be at 12 pm, followed by a brief service. Pastor David McGuirk will officiate. Pallbearers include Kyle Coddington, Francisco Leon, Cameron Love, Carson Love, Chase Love, Nicholas Valentin. Music to be performed by Sue’s dearest and closest friend, Debra Adkins.
