Mary Etta Roberts

Boyce H. Roberts, 87 of Matthews, NC passed away December 9, 2015. He was born August 19, 1928 in Rowan County to the late Frank and Hazel Roberts. Boyce loved good music, good conversation and most of all, his family. His wife Mary Etta Little Roberts followed him to Heaven on December 17, 2015. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Schrum. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank, Jr.

Mary Etta Little Roberts, age 86, wife of Boyce H. Roberts passed away on December 17, 2015. She was born May 22, 1929 in Mecklenburg County to the late Baxter and Pearl Little. Mary Etta retired from Home Federal Savings and Loan (now Fifth Third banks) after many years of service. She was well respected in the Banking Industry for her knowledge of the Industry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Boyce H. Roberts. Survivors include her niece, Beth Little Plummer (Mark) and family and her sister-in-law, Nancy Schrum and her family, Carol, Donnie, and Bobby. She is also survived by her nieces Terry and Beth Roberts, and nephew, Frank Roberts. Also surviving are numerous great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Baxter Little, Jr., and nephew, David Little.

A memorial graveside service for Boyce H. Roberts and Mary Etta Little Roberts will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
