Mary was a long time member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene of Charlotte. She loved to sing, especially her favorite song, What A Friend We Have In Jesus. She also loved to make people smile. Mary never met a stranger and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her three sons: Michael Shepard, Mark Shepard and Scott Shepard and wife Beverly; Five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; two brothers: Ralph Pate and wife Patsy and Carrol Pate and wife Nancy; two sisters: Vivian Logan and Shirley Gatti and husband Lou of Pennsylvania.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. A funeral service will be held at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
