Mrs. Mary Frances Ward, 85, of Indian Trail, NC died January 30, 2015. Mrs. Ward was born in Union County, NC to the late Lester and Mary Shaw Helms. Mrs. Ward was married to the late Charles Ward on September 11, 1947 in York, SC. To this union, three sons were born: Charles, Ernie and Gary. Mrs. Ward was known as a loving mother, grandmother, and a helpful caregiver that enjoyed cooking and caring for family. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church located in the Hemby Bridge Community of Indian Trail, NC. In addition to her sons, she is survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one sister, Barbara Gould. Barbara says that her sister was a loving sister that cared about others. She will be missed. The family will receive friends from 12PM-1 PM at McEwen Funeral Services at Sharon Memorial Park on Tuesday February 3, 2015. Funeral services will take place at 1 PM in the McEwen Chapel.
