Megan Elizabeth Jones

God needed another angel on Sunday, May 24, 2015. Megan was born in Charlotte to Richard and Hesta Jones on April 7, 1991. She was 24 years old.

Megan graduated from Ardrey Kell High School in 2009 where she played softball. Megan never met a stranger, loved and adopted animals, and loved to play golf. She was also an avid beach music fan and she was happiest with her toes in the sand.

She is survived by her loving parents, Richard and Hesta Jones of Charlotte; her brother Doug Jones and his fiancé Dustin Hackett of Wilmington, NC; her grandparents Earl and Marianne Jones of Indian Land, SC and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Edward M. and Eloise Douglas.

A celebration of life will be held at Firethorne Country Club, 1108 Firethorne Club Drive, Marvin, NC on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2:00pm. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of Airmen & Family Readiness Center, a 501(c)(3) of the 145 Airlift Wing in Charlotte, NC
