Melvin L Warren

Melvin was born in Kingsport, TN on November 13, 1941 to Robert Lee Warren and Mary Pauline Harr. He worked for Thurston Motor Lines for the majority of his career, 25 years, until his retirement. He was a member of Spiritual Guidance Holiness Church in Mt. Holly, NC. Melvin was known to be a very generous man to his family and friends alike.

He is survived by his wife Mae Warren; mother, Pauline Harr Warren; sons, Michael Warren and Jerry Warren (Vicky); brother, Allen Wayne Warren; sisters, Pamela Jean Vandyke (Mike), Sonia Mullis and Phyllis Henson; grandchildren, Jesse Warren, Jared Warren and Katie Jill Bendenbaugh.

Melvin is preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Ann Warren and his father. Visitation for Mr. Warren will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Spiritual Guidance Holiness Church, 609 E. Charlotte Ave. Mt. Holly, NC 28120. Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation at Spiritual Guidance Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
