Meredith Merry Leigh Moeller

After a courageous battle with terminal illness, Meredith Leigh Moeller, "Merry" passed away at home Thursday, September 17, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of Alva and Jim Moeller and beloved sister of Elisa. She was also the loving aunt of Christian Bass. She was born in Anderson, SC on December 10, 1964.

Merry grew up and was educated in South Carolina, eventually settling in Charlotte, NC, where she met the love of her life, Jeff Whitlock. Together they have two wonderful dogs, Sophie and Spanky. In Charlotte, she was able to employ her lifelong love of animals as team leader in the grooming department of Animal Medical Hospital where she enjoyed working for nearly twenty years taking care of the animals she loved and sharing her passion with clients and co-workers.

A time to remember and celebrate Merry’s life will be held Friday, September 25th, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations in memory of Meredith Moeller be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
