Michael J Casserly

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mr. Casserly was born to the late Thomas Joseph Casserly, Sr. and Kathleen Cooke Casserly on January 28, 1947. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Compass Group, Inc. after 35 years of service. Mr. Casserly was a member of St. john Neumann Catholic Church.

Mr. Casserly is survived by his wife, JoAnn P. Casserly of Charlotte; by daughters, Beth Anne Casserly of Charlotte, Catherine Casserly of Charlotte; granddaughter, Makayla Casserly; brothers, Thomas J. Casserly, Jr. of Tavares, Fl, David E. Casserly of Alexandria, VA and P. Daniel Casserly of Camden, Indiana.

A memorial service will be held 2:00p.m., Friday, February 14, 2014 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte. Interment with military honors will be held 11:00a.m., Friday, February 14 in Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blessed Assurance Adult Day Care, 13001 Idlewild Rd., Matthews, NC 28105.
