He was a Senior Sales Consultant for Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company. Michael was a member of the St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Charlotte, NC.

Michael was nicknamed “Bubble” in the third grade due to his full head of hair; however, the nickname stuck due to his full of life personality. He had tremendous success in athletics, which led him to the Air Force Academy, and his love of sport continued with him when he played rugby for the University of Kansas and the Charlotte Rugby Club. Michael was known for his loyalty and thoughtfulness to all friends and family. His caring personality was instrumental in changing many lives. Michael immensely enjoyed any celebration with his family and friends. A celebration could be a night at a NASCAR race, watching KU basketball or just enjoying a fine cigar. Michael’s greatest passion in life was for his daughter, Anabella. Michael touched many lives and will be remembered by his energy and smile, which was contagious to anyone who met him.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Anabella Elizabeth Pedrotti; his parents, Richard and Maureen Pedrotti; his sister, Dana Stram, husband Stu and children Hanna, Ava and Sophia; brother, Marc Pedrotti, wife Angie and children Joe, Sam, Jon and Kate; sister, Colleen Parsons, husband Rafe and daughter, Grace; and former spouse, Sara Pedrotti.

Mr. and Mrs. Pedrotti and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of this great loss to you and your family! I just heard of the news today by chance. My prayers are with you. Michael will and has always been in my heart. He touched my life in a way that I will never forget. I loved him deeply for the man that he was and how he returned that love with his heart and smile. He enriched my life with Sinatra and Cigars and the passion that he always had for life. I am glad that I got to talk with him over the past few years. He will be deeply missed! May God's presence keep you strong.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Pedrotti, His Family, and all of Mike's KU Rugby buddies that were his extended family,
I only learned a few days ago of Mike's passing. I'm deeply touched to read and see the photo showing what a devoted father he was. The common theme was how he was kind, and lit up a room with laughter and good times. I was fortunate to know Mike through many of the KU rugby players at Johnny's. My heart goes out to all of you and his daughter.

I was so sorry to hear about Michael. He was one of the most thoughtful individuals I have ever met. My heart aches for your entire family.Someday the answers will come
Someday the answers will make sense
Someday all this seeming nonsensical suffering will be explained by God
And when it is, it will ultimately make sense

I had the pleasure of working with Mike for several years. He was a great guy - always kind and funny. Mike loved to talk about his daughter; his face absolutely lit up when he spoke of her! My heart goes out to his entire family.

When your friends call, answer the phone. When your friends need you to listen, please do. Be as friendly and bubbly as Mike was to his friends. Let that be a big part of his legacy in your lives. His spirit will live on forever.
