Dear Frank Family,

i would to send all of you my love. Myrna was a loving and giving friend to my mother Judith and my father, and she was there for my family while i went through enormous challenges as a child. She is an unconditionally loving soul and it comforts me that as my parents moved towards the completion of this life, that’s such a wonderful soul. Will be there to meet them both.

Myrna was such a beautiful woman inside and out. She always treated Gavin and I as if we were family. My fondest memories of her are in the kitchen, she was an amazing cook. I would talk to her for hours while watching her prepare meals. We’d talk about life, love and cooking!  To this day I wear gloves while touching uncooked meat. Every time I put them on I think about Myrna showing me that. I’m so fortunate to have been able to spend time with her. She helped me to become a better cook and a better woman. She believed in me when I went through trying times. Myrna helped me to see I deserved a good man who would be there for Gavin and I. She told me to “ditch the losers”, lol. I took her words to heart and put them to use as I got older. I always admired her and Dons marriage. They were best friends and a loving couple. I knew that’s what I wanted to find in life and strived to find what she had found. Myrna helped me in so many ways. I am so blessed to have been able to know her, and learn from all her wisdom she gathered through her life. 
Gavin wants me to tell of his memories of her “matzah ball soup”, he said it was always delicious! He said all of her cooking was so good and she was always so sweet and kind to him. 
Robin, Don and family we send our deepest condolences for your loss. She will always be near and dear in all of our hearts. May her soul rest peacefully, heaven has gained a beautiful angel and is bound to do wonderful things on the other side.

I have so many wonderful memories I have collected over the years with the Franks, but especially favored was time spent with them all at their dinner table with the family; it was always pure, loud, delightful, pandemonium and constant chatter coming from five directions with SOOO MUCH excellent food to boot. Center of the event was always Myrna, who would be sure that everyone was well fed, heard, loved, and threatened appropriately when the pandemonium attempted to reach overload, but in her humorous and gentle way. I never left Myrna’s table feeling hungry for food or love. Myrna was my second mom when I needed her,  providing sound advise and loving concern. I love Myrna and Don with all of my heart, and I always will. Thank you for a lovely lifetime of memories that I have to cherish of precious times together. Myrna, I’ll miss you forever. And no one has ever been able to make Key Lime Pie as good as yours. Big hugs and love to Don, Michele, Marc, Robin, grands and great grands. With love, the “bonus kid”, Donna

Saying goodbye is never easy but we take solace in the fact that you are in a better place, suffering no more. Myrna, we are better people for having met you, for simply knowing you. May you be as blessed in the next life, as we were for being a small part of yours. 

To all those who loved her, we are reminded that angels are always near to those who are grieving to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hands of the Lord.

Three years ago I went to visit Don & Myrna in Charlotte. I spent 5 cherished days with them as we lived their everyday life together. We indulged in the simple things, the grocery store, a movie, Earlybird dinner at House of Pancakes, a Thursday evening ritual with them, Sunday morning at the Deli, an afternoon with Aileen and a visit with Robin. We went to the Synagogue for Senior Chair Yoga and  lunch. Friday night dinner at home and simply sitting  at home watching TV and reminiscing of days gone by. Myrna you will be truly missed and I will do everything in my power to help Don smile through the memories you, he and your beautiful family shared throughout your treasured life together. I was so happy to have been a part of your life, you will be missed by all who were touched by you💜

Myrna was the most wonderful mother to all her children.  As a friend of her daughter Robin I was so lucky to have known Myrna and Don.  My favorite memories of Myrna were the endless denotations of what was on the menu for dinner - and it was the purest act of love I ever witnessed because she was the ultimate nester.  She just wanted to let everyone know what was in the house for everyone to share.  You could come hang out in Don’s office or their bedroom and just be one big happy family and she would never miss a chance to play with Aileen in their pool, backyard or chase after their beagle Shula when she was running around.  They were the most incredible people I have ever know.  She loved, loved, loved her family, her husband, all the kids and none were ever more important than the other but she would talk about each one to me as if they were her shinning stars.  She even made me feel like a family member, both Myrna and Don.   Robin, I know you loved your mom and I am so sad she is gone and I know this will change all of your lives now.  Thank you Michele for letting me know all the details - she was so incredible and I will forever cherish all my conversations with Myrna about the Jewish faith, her teaching Hebrew classes, working as a travel agent, what we all wanted from the store and all the trips to places around the world they were going to take and most important her love and adoration for each and everyone of her children.   I wish I had had a mother like her.  I am so sad today, I cannot help it, she and the entire family touched my lives unlike anyone else ever could.  I am sure she found Shula and all that went before her and they are all having a blast because Myrna is there.
