Myrtle Holmes Moon was called home to her heavenly Father on her 94th birthday, January 29, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Harvey Moon and her siblings Marie Cordle, Mazelle Westbrook, Ruby Pierachakas, Malene Johnson, and brother Roy Holmes.
She was born January 29, 1921 to Boy Holmes and Louis Jane Johnson.
She has left behind her son Charles Edward Moon and wife Rosemary, daughter Janice Moon Helms and husband Robby Reece Helms; her grandchildren Tracy H. Haynes and husband Jay, Robby R. Helms and wife Sharon, Amber H. McIlroy and husband Stuart, Erin H. Perrell, Hope Moon, Holly Moon and husband Brian. Great grandchildren Kaycie McKibben and husband Harold, Ryan James Burrell, Joshua Aaron Burrell and wife Michaela, Alexis McIlroy, Zachary McIlroy, Caitlyn Perrell, Jacob Roder, Thomas Roder, Katie Roder, and Cobi Helms. Great-great grandchildren Luke McKibben, Isaiah McKibben, Ryleigh Hope Burrell.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local hospice.
