Nalle Link "Sonny" Hill Jr.

Mr. Hill, 74, of Matthews, died peacefully Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from heart failure at Novant Health-Matthews surrounded by family. He was born in Charlotte February 27, 1941 to the late Nalle Link, Sr. and Lola Hill. He was preceded in death by his wife, and high school sweetheart, of 41 years, Judith Lynn Watts Hill.

Mr. Hill is survived by daughters, Sonya Renee Hill of Matthews, and Kristie Hill Presten and husband, Danny, of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Jesse Alexander Hill, Zoe Alexandria Presten, Ragan Judith Presten and Kara Lee Presten; niece, Rhonda Rhino and family; and nephew, Brent Everidge and wife. He was preceded in death by sister, Peggy Hill Everidge, and brother-in-law, Jack Everidge.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, at Midwood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials be sent to Midwood Baptist Church, 2029 Mecklenburg Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205.
