Thanks to the Stoner family & others who spoke so eloquenty about Nick yesterday at his service to give those of us who only knew him as a child a glimpse of the man he was becoming. I wish I had known him as you all did. What a fun guy who obviously never met a stranger. Ralph, your testimony touched our hearts and was an inspiration to all in attendance. Thank you! My heart aches for all of you, but your faith and the love of God will help you through. The strength that comes from your family unity is amazing. May God continue to bless you & hold you in his loving arms. Love you.

If there were a word in the English language to describe an old friend you just met, that would describe the first time I met Nick. I only knew him for a little over a year, but it was a year's worth of some of my life's best times. It was an absolute privilege to call such a fine human being a friend of mine. Susan and Butch,

I accidentally came across Nick's obituary as I was looking up an obituary from someone from my church. I was stunned to say the least as I have fond memories of cute little Nick as a toddler. I took care of Nick in my home daycare when you first lived in Harrisburg. What a sweet fellow and such wonderful parents you are. I have thought about you all over the years and my heart aches for you. Please call me when it is convenient as I want to offer a loving ear and listening heart to such a wondrful family.

In Christ,

Susan and Family:

I was saddened to hear about the loss of Nicholas. It has been a long time since we were neighbors here in Charlotte, but I did enjoy young Nick when he and Michael were friends. I understand the boys were planning a get together this summer. I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family.
