Nicole "Nikki" Moore Lofton

Nicole ”Nikki” Lofton, 29, of Waxhaw, passed away on June 27, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends. Her cherished memory will never fade from the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She was born on April 23, 1982 to Renee and Michael Hicks in Pineville, NC. She attended South Mecklenburg High and Parkwood High School. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and devoted her life to raising her children.

Survivors include her husband Mike Lofton, 3 beautiful kids; Haley, Landon and Caleb; Parents Michael and Renee Hicks and 1 brother Cody Hicks; Paternal grandparents Lloyd and Joyce Ragon; 3 aunts, Melissa Goodwin, Annette Knopp and Vickie Rhyne; 3 Uncles, Herb Moore, Michael Moore and Donnie Hicks and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal “Papa” and “Maw maw” Gayle and Brenda Moore; 2 uncles Frankie Moore and Russell Hicks and her paternal grandfather Bill Don Hicks.

Pallbearers will be Michael Moore, Herb Moore, Roger McQueen, Brian Rogers, Ronnie Ott and Danny Rathbun.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church, 3703 Mary Elizabeth Church Road, Waxhaw, NC, 28173 with Pastor Curtis Laney officiating. Burial will follow at Mary Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery across the street from the church.
