Norma Kaye Tuck

The memorial service will be held at 3 pm on July 18th at McEwen Funeral Service in Charlotte NC. Reverend Dr. Russ Dean of Park Road Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow the memorial directly after at Sharon Memorial Park.

Norma Kaye was born in Athens, GA on August 4th, 1946 to her parents Kathleen and Walter Ball. She and her family moved to Harrisburg, NC soon after. She graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1964. Norma Kaye married the love of her life, Raymond August Tuck III in 1979 and spent 20 years happily married.

Norma Kaye worked a number of years for Harris Teeter before retiring and moving to the beach to happily live the remainder of her years.

Norma Kaye loved to get together with friends, host gatherings, cook for her friends and family, listen to music, and in general just loved to have a good time and laugh. She was a beloved friend, grandmother, and great-grandmother that will be sorely missed. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, never-ending jokes, and her smile that never seemed to fall.

Norma Kaye is survived by her granddaughter Amanda Mokhaizeem, grandson Joseph Tuck, three close cousins Brenda Moon, Jackie Griffeth and George Strickland. She is also survived by the lights of her life, her four great-grandchildren Hailey, Gabriel, Mikail, and Preston. She leaves behind her “Golden Girls” and many beloved friends.

Norma Kaye is preceded in death by her husband Raymond August Tuck III, son Walter Tuck, sister Beverly Ann Hill, and her parents.
