Mr. Norman F. Skiles, a loving and devoted father, deacon and civil servant, transitioned into eternal rest on March 19, 2015. Mr. Skiles was born in Elizabeth City, NC on January 18, 1923 to Roberson C. Skiles and Cassie Toler Skiles. He was married to the late Gladys Skiles for forty four wonderful years. Those left to cherish his memories include: Daughters Joan Shanks and husband Jack, Janet High and Jean Glenn and husband Doug; Grandchildren Stephanie and Brent High and Josh Glenn; Siblings June Taylor and Evelyn Sawyer. His family cordially invites you to attend visitation at One O’clock on Monday March 23, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Service with a funeral service in the McEwen Chapel at Two O’Clock.
