Norris Wright was born on December 9,1940 to Daniel and Sara Wright. He attended East Mecklenburg High in 1959. Norris served in the Army and worked at Duke Energy for over 30 years as a Plant Manager.
Norris was an avid football fan and enjoyed playing golf. He loved to travel to different cities and explore. He was known for his quick wit, loved telling jokes and his infectious smile.
Norris is survived by his four children Debbie, Cindy, Danny, Kimberly, fiancé Linda and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte at 1pm on Friday, March 1, 2019. Funeral Service will follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Sharon Memorial Park.
