Ms. Brand, age 55, of Charlotte and formerly of the Oklahoma City area, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011.
She was born July 14, 1956 in Sweetwater, Texas the daughter of the late James Wilhelm Brand and Mildred Moody Haney Brand. She is preceded in death by a stepson, Blake Fleming.
Pamela loved watching football and tennis especially the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma University Sooners. She played softball in school, was number 13 and the catcher on her team, which later became her lucky number in life. She also enjoyed music, woodworking, crafts and spending time in her yard gardening. Her drive to help others began a career in the medical profession starting with home health care and later a medical technologist. Pamela was a free spirited and loving friend to all and will be deeply missed.
Surviving are her devoted and loving companion, Deborah L. Greenmyer; cousin, Tommy Haney and his family; and close friends, Evelyn Deans, Becky Fulmer and Debbie Williams; and feline companion, Max.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the hospice of one’s choice.
