Pat was one of my dearest friends.  Even after all these years have passed still miss her deeply.

Not a day passes that I don't think of you and smile. Having you in my life was such a joy. I often think how lucky I was that God bought us together.  We had so much fun. Shared so many secrets and watched our children grow. I couldn't ask for more.  Love you forever and a day my friend. Rest easy.

I had known Pat since meeting her and her ex while working at Concerts on the Common in Boston,Ma. around 1984 or 1985 It was a real joy to have gotten to know her all these years. I'll always remember the long talks we had and how she was always there for me.

I will miss you cousin Patricia! I will remember and cherish the great times we shared during our youth, along with your siblings and mines, while growing up in our hometown of Hamlet, NC..I appreciate the times you traveled from Boston to Baltimore to assist me with our ill Mom. I admire your courage & tenacity. Even though your health was failing you daily, you never failed to pick that phone up  to stay in touch with your Maryland relatives. And I will miss those phone calls! I understand GOD needed to home to rest; So, until we meet again, rest in Paradise my beautiful cousin Pat!!!!

To Patrice and all of Pat Monroe's  Family,

 Know for certain that you had a jewel in Patricia Monroe. Pat possessed a warm heart and  giving spirit like none other.  She was committed to fellowship and service at Nations Ford Community Church where our bond began.  When my oldest  brother passed in April of 2017,  Pat thoughtfulness was truly there.  She individually reached out to me with the beautiful sympathy card attached in photo signed to include both Patrice and herself,  which speaks to the loving, thoughtful parent she was.  

Little did I know I would be sharing like condolences to her family on her behalf. So may her well wishes for me and my family be returned unto her loved ones when I say may the special love bond you had with Pat  always keep her with you.

God, the Father saw fit to take her into His rest.  Although she will be missed, from what I have witness,  Pat ran this course called life, finishing strong. Now she can look forward to eternal life where there is no illnesses, nor pain, or sorrows.  

Truly my prayers be with the family.  May the love of God from Our Heavenly Father; that same God that gave Pat to us for a time to share abroad His love that He instilled in her, bring  you comfort and peace. And in due time, may your heavy hearts of mourning be turned into joy and dancing. Truly Pat lived a life to be celebrated! 👃💕

Dear Family, 

             I will miss cousin Patricia, beautiful soul and her strength. She always had a smile on her face no matter what she was going through. It's these life lessons that I will hold dear and it those that will inspire me to be a better me. Little cousin Patrice,  your Maryland family loves you and will continue to pray for you along the way. 




When I was just 5 Patricia taught me how to braid and making money here and there because of that skill became so natural. My big cuz was always in touch and could be counted on for a phone call or a text at any time just to say hi and to say she loved you! As annoying as receiving all of those facebook messenger messages may have been, I never told her to stop because the alternative of not hearing drom her was not a viable option! She loved her family and was always adamant about letting us know just how much!! RIP our lovely angel! You will be missed! I LOVE YOU BIG CUZ FOREVER & ALWAYS! THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS!

My fondest memories were the times we held conversations about our children, work and just about anything else. 
I remember how much I admired your mother-daughter relationship as you dropped off and picked up Patrice at daycare, then went to work in the JFK Building.

To the Monroe Family,
I am saddended that Pat has moved on to a higher plain, but so proud to have know her and to have spent so many years together as friends.  We bonded from the time we met, and supported each other when raising our kids as single parents and through their adulthood.  
I will dearly miss our laughing together and long telephone calls when apart.  My visits to Charlotte were always my favorite trips where I was treated like family with true southern hospitality.  
I'll strive to be as honest and loving as our Miss Pat who was a great mother and role model and will always be reminded that she will be watching over me and I best behave!

Sending my heartfelt sympathy and condolences to my NC family.  I will surely miss my Cuz Patricia,  even though you were fighting your battle,  you always made it a habit to check on me and your Baltimore family to see how we were doing. I will miss your weekly FB messages that you sent me. May you Rest in Paradise, nomore pain and suffering, with Love Cheryl & The Dunnock family.  

Will always treasure meeting Pat way back around 1984 ushering concerts on Boston Common then over at the Boston Opera House. 

True not to be too sad;  you her friends and love ones Pat is gone but not really she's still all around us. And we'll meet up again one day. I'll always remember you lying to the priest so that Mahesh could get baptized.

Patrice  we are so very sorry for your loss. We loved your mom not sure if you remember me but you went to child care at the Government Center Child Care where we spent many years caring for you and getting to know your mom. She was an amazing lady and she will be missed by many.
