Way too many memories!
Many are of church events, of course, but some of our trips to the Peebles in South Hill and the antics en route and return trip are memorable too.
I miss Pat terribly and can nerver remember if it was June 2nd or 7th that she passed.  No matter, she's remembered every day by me.

I will always remember this date.  Pat was such a wonderful best friend to me.  I cherish the memories of all those years we had together.
I miss her deeply in my times right now.  But I always feel her spirit.

Pat was a much-loved member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites in Richmond, Virginia.   She faithfully made the trip to Richmond every month to gather with the community.  In May 2021, she made her final promise to live as a Carmelite for the rest of her life after finishing her preparation in many Zoom and FaceTime meetings with fellow members.  She was a good and holy person and we miss her.

I remember how Pat Simmons was always available to serve with our priest during mass. Whether dressing the altar, serving the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, ushering or cleaning, she was always there to help when she could and where she could. I feel very sure she's enjoying her duties assigned by the angels, as a heavenly being. Enjoy the rest Pat. You have been and are missed. 

I met Ms Pat when I started to attend daily mass at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church more than 18 years ago. She was a good person and we were friends. May her Soul rest in the peace.

There are so many things I want to say or to share about my mother.   My mother love to help many people in her communities, jobs, and churches.  Her compassion, love, spiritual gifts and devotion were blessing to witness and to follow.  Most of all her love for me and my sister while setting examples how to live our lives in best ways possible have been a treasure experience.  Mom, I love you dearly and will always miss you. Thank you for accepting me and for allowing me to be who I am as a deaf person to accomplish anything that I put my mind into it with GOD’s grace and love. 

     One of my favorite things about my mom, was her smart alec replies to things I said or did.   The top one was when I would overeat,  she'd say "ok, piggy wiggy'.  I told her I was a growing girl, she'd say "Yeah, out, not up" .  Made me laugh every time.  



I Can hear her calling me now Bebop! She was the only one who called me that. Boy I wish I had one of those hand made blankets. Miss you Aunty!

Our prayers are with you family that the peace of the Lord will comfort you greatly. Patty had a loving heart and will truly be missed but you have been given the wonderful opportunity to keep the family  heritage alive. She will live on through you.

Thank you for being the mother you were to your children... particularly to my friend, Marc.  You were loved.  God bless your peaceful rest in the arms of God.

I am going to miss Aunt Pat. My greatest memory was visiting her and my cousins in Atlanta. I enjoyed sitting and conversating with her.
