Patricia A. Thomas

Patricia Ann Thomas, formerly of Rochester Hills, Michigan and Brentwood, TN, passed away from a long fight with Alzheimer’s on January 13, 2016. Born in 1943, Pat had three passions in life: family, friends and flowers. She was the oldest of five children and enjoyed taking care of her younger sisters. While in high school she developed lifetime friendships with six of her classmates. In 1969 she met Parker Thomas and they married in 1970. They soon had three children which were the apples of her eye. In 1988 they moved to Brentwood, TN. It was there that her love of flowers bloomed in the form of five rose gardens. With her emphasis on family, friends and gardening, her life was filled with love, kindness, goodness, joy and peace. Pat spent the last 2 ½ years at Brookdale Southpark, a memory care facility in Charlotte, NC, where she received outstanding care. A memorial service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, January 23 at 1:00 PM at 9100 Crocket Road, Brentwood, TN 37027.
