Patrick had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing the guitar in his earlier years. He also loved reading, watching birds, and looking up at the stars. He was thoughtful of others and had a way of making people laugh. His consideration for those around him and his sense of humor brought something special to the lives of the people who knew him.
Patrick is survived by his daughters, Jessica Skorch and Christy Hennessy (and 3 grandchildren); his parents, Bill and Patricia Hennessy; and his siblings, Peter Hennessy, Billy Hennessy, Patty Lyons, and Megan Jacik.
Patrick will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, his humor, the things he loved, and the memories he created with those closest to him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love and laughter he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
May he rest peacefully beneath the stars he so loved to gaze upon, forever remembered and forever loved.
Visitation will be held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Charlotte NC, 3016 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28211, on October 27, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at the same location.
A Committal Service will take place at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 at 2:00 pm.
