Mrs. Patsy A. Dozier passed away on January 1, 2015 at her home. The daughter of the late Henry and Alice Nicholson, she was born in Pageland, SC on August 8, 1939. Mrs. Dozier was a caring, outspoken woman who loved her family, friends and the beach. She worked in the dry cleaning business for a number of years in both New Orleans, LA and Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by six siblings: Wilbur, Floyd, Edsel, Hermon, Margie and Blake. She is survived by her husband of twenty five years, Rev. George Dozier; Sons Vernon “Butch” Drum, Jr and Michael “Stevie” Drum; Daughters Karen Elrod, and Denise Zarr; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday January 5, 2015 in the chapel of McEwen Funeral Services, 5716 Monroe Rd with entombment to follow in Sharon Memorial Gardens.
