

Mr. Ehrenberg, 86, of Charlotte, NC, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center – Mercy. Mr. Ehrenberg was born April 5, 1925 in Canton, OH, son of the late August Ehrenberg and Vera Turri Ehrenberg.
Mr. Ehrenberg was the founder of Ehren Haus, Inc., a plastics fabrication company. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, where he worked for 20 years as the facility supervisor, retiring in 2006. He was accomplished on the accordion, both as a performer and teacher. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII in the Pacific Theatre.
Mr. Ehrenberg is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nona Boudra Ehrenberg; daughters, Diane Seubert and husband Charles of Davie, FL, Alicia Smithey and husband Craig of Pleasant View, UT, and Sherry Beacham of Monroe, NC; sons, Paul Ehrenberg, Jr. and Tim Ehrenberg, both of Charlotte, Art Ehrenberg and wife, Shari, of Fort Mill, SC, and Ron Conover and wife Kristen of Albemarle, NC; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Art Ehrenberg.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012 at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Patrick Earl, SJ, Celebrant. Inurnment will take place in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
