One of six children, he was born on May 24, 1963 in Queens, NY to Sam Rotondo Sr. and Barbara H. Demerer.
Paul had a career as an over the road truck driver and was a longtime employee of Covenant Transport. In the mid-2000s he relocated from the tri-state area to North Carolina, where he resided until his passing.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, David Rotondo and Benjamin Rotondo.
Paul is survived by his wife, Deborah Rotondo; children, Tiffany Rotondo, Sheldon Rotondo, and Joshua Rotondo; step-children, Becky Gaither, Jennifer Gabel, and Lisa Forbes; grandchildren, Ethan Rotondo, Dominic Coffey, and Mateo Villavicencio; step-grandchildren, William Kelly, Nathanael Gaither, Angelea White, Neveah Gabel, Jacob Forbes, and Abigail Forbes; and siblings, JoAnna Cruz, Sam Rotondo Jr., and Robert Rotondo.
Per the family’s wishes, there will be no public services.
Donations may be made in Paul’s memory to St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
