He was born on the 7th of September, 1967 at Charlotte Memorial Hospital (now Atrium Main) to Paul E. Williams, Jr. and Teresa Rhodes Williams. Paul was a 1985 graduate of Olympic High School. He had previously worked with the City of Charlotte and for the past nine years served as lead driver and trainer for Waste Management located in Lowell, NC.
Anyone who knew Paul, knew that he was a “Hard Rock” fan and was an avid fan of Motley Crue. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hiking in the mountains. Paul had to be the #1 fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
The Williams family will greet friends from 11:00 AM until 12 Noon on Saturday, the 29th of April at Forest Lawn West Funeral Service. A service to celebrate his life will follow in the Paul Helton Chapel at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Williams family plot at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
Paul is survived by his parents, Paul and Teresa Williams of Charlotte, NC; his daughter, Laura Maedl and husband, Greg of York, SC; his granddaughter, Jordyn Maedl; the mother of his daughter, Melanie Williams of Rock Hill, SC and his former wife, Tracy Williams of Lowell, NC. He is also survived by his two fur babies, “Skeeter and Sheba and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
