Peggy Redding

Peggy Diane Fowler, age 75, died peacefully on December 30, 2024 at home under the care of Hospice Brazos Valley. A visitation and service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Hillier Funeral Homes of College Station. The burial will be held at a later date at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, NC.

Peggy was born in Charlotte, NC on May 27,1949 to William Neal Fowler and Betty Ruth Blanton. On August 24, 1968, she married Leslie Lambert Redding, her high school sweetheart. She welcomed a son into her life on January 13, 1973 and a daughter on April 4, 1975.

Peggy was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She began work as a bank teller for several years, a nurse’s assistant with the local ISD, and as a Consultant with Mary Kay for 38 years. When her husband retired, they moved back to Florida where she enjoyed the beach and warm weather. However, Texas called, and Peggy returned to the College Station area. Most of all, Peggy was a supportive wife, devoted mother, and loving grandparent who was involved in all our lives. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.

She is predeceased by her father, William Neal Fowler, her mother, Betty Ruth Blanton, and her husband, Leslie Lambert Redding.

Peggy is survived by her son, Christopher; daughter, Margaret; sisters, Barbara Keel, Cathy Reding, and Susan Earl; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Marissa, Emma, and Della.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
