Peggy Jean (Pressley) Therrell

Born on August 6, 1934 to Wiley and Tursey Pressley of Morning Star Township, NC, Peggy was an active member of Garr Memorial and Central Church of God. She was strong in her faith, as she loved God and her family and friends. She was a dedicated Christian and would pray with her family and friends.

Peggy would stop what she was doing to help someone else at any time. She was a kind and considerate woman but most of all she was a loving mom and grandmother.

Peggy was a hair model, Sunday school teacher; furniture refinisher and she had a wallpaper business. In addition, she was a wonderful cook and gardener.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Robert Therrell and brothers Harvey and Bob Pressley.

Survivors include her children William Michael Therrell, David Ray Therrell and Kimberly Danette Bronson; grandchildren Matthew and Mitchel Bronson, nieces Jill (Paul) Trotta and Karma (Jef) Crisco and sister-in-law Kay Pressley.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 26 2021 at 1:30pm at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. Funeral service will follow at 2pm with burial at Sharon Memorial Park.
