Peggy Joyce Williams

Peggy Joyce Williams, 88, of Lincolnton, passed away March 18, 2022. Born January 28, 1934 in Tallassee, AL, she was the daughter of William H. and Lettie P. (Hammock) Maynard. She was the wife of the late Tommy A. Williams.

She employed with Park-N-Shop for numerous years before retirement and longtime member of Lake Norman Baptist Church. Peggy was also a member of the Gideon’s Auxiliary.

A wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend; Peggy loved working in her yard and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Martin) Reynolds; grandchildren, Allen Rogers and Leah O’Neill; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth O’Neill and Emily O’Neill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Frances Wardlow and Jeffie Brantley; brothers, Ronnie and Earl Maynard.

Graveside Service 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Heart Association. Condolences may be submitted at www.forestlawnwest.com.
