

born in Shreveport, LA on November 24, 1949 to Rosalie and James Frazier. Phil attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from Gardner Webb University with a BS degree. He spent over 40 years in the textile chemical industry. Phil was an avid reader, loved history and trivia and enjoyed sports – especially Tarheel basketball. He valued honesty, integrity, hard work and generosity but most of all, he loved God, family and home.
Phil is predeceased by his mother, Rosalie Whatley Frazier. He is survived by his loving wife and best
friend of almost 35 years, Joyce W. Frazier; daughter Laura A. (Chris) Brackett; sons, Philip C. (Madeline)
Frazier II and Zachary B. Frazier; father, James F. Frazier; sister, Barbara (William)
Moore and brother, James H. Frazier; 3 grandchildren; his beloved nieces and nephews and special family members Julie Taylor, Amy Kimball and Nikki Kimball.
The family will receive friends on Sunday June 2 at 2:00 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte followed by a 3:30 pm service to celebrate Phil’s life.
