Ralph Lester Buys

Rock Hill, SC-Ralph Lester Buys, 85, of Charlotte, NC, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016.

Born in Mount Morris, Michigan on November 15, 1930, he was a son of the late Roy and Adella Buys.

Mr. Buys served as an electronics technician with the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed for 29 years as an engineer for Elox/Agie in Davidson.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Buys; two sons, Jon Buys and wife, Elayna and Craig Buys and wife, Tracy; four grandchildren, Jeremy Buys, Heather Buys, Jennifer Buys and Robert Buys; and a sister, Sharon Hunt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Buys and a brother, Robert Buys.

Services are planned for 2:00 pm Tuesday at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC, with Rev. Jerry Woolery of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 – 2 pm with services following. Burial will take place in Sunset Memory Gardens.
