Rebecca Lindsay McDaniel

Rebecca Lindsay McDaniel, 78, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on June 10, 2026. Becky was born on March 21, 1948, in Gaston County, North Carolina, to Harold Hughes Lindsay and Mary Quinn Lindsay of Clover, SC.

Over the past four years, Becky faced cancer with remarkable strength, steady courage, and unwavering faith. She passed away peacefully, having finished her race and gone home to be with Jesus. Even in grief, those who loved her hold close the comfort of a cherished passage of Scripture: “He keeps His eye on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”

Becky was deeply beloved and cherished, and she carried herself with the quiet resilience of someone who met life’s demands with diligence and resolve. A hard-working and devoted woman, she served as the CEO for Power Components, Inc., which she shared with her husband, leading with steadiness and purpose.

In December 2026, Becky and Rick McDaniel would have marked 42 wonderful years of marriage, sharing time and experiences that reflected devotion at the center of their life together.

Becky attended and contributed to the ministries of Calvary Church, living out a strong faith through faithful presence. Her life reflected a devotion rooted in belief, sustained by perseverance, and expressed through love.

Rick would like to express his heartfelt gratitude to Atrium Hospice Union for the compassionate care they provided, ensuring Becky remained comfortable and free from pain during her final journey. They are truly special people. To family, thank you for standing beside Becky every step of the way with your love and support. To our many friends, your prayers, kindness, and presence meant more than words can say. And to the doctors and nurses who cared for her—you were a gift from God, and we are forever grateful.

Becky will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
