Richard Kevin Blisard

Rick was born June 30, 1962, to Richard and Joan Blisard in Belleville New Jersey. The family moved to Bridgewater, where he made many lifelong friends. Following graduation from Bridgewater Raritan High School West he moved to Texas and worked for Northrop Grumman.

Rick then relocated and settled in Charlotte, NC, taking a job with Mechanical Supply/The Macomb Group, working as an Inside Sales Representative. Rick was a valued employee and top salesman during his 33 years with the company.

In 1991 his son, Matthew Ross Blisard was born. Rick loved being a father and shared his love of sports…all sports. It began with tomato throwing at the Renaissance festival they attended for many years. He loved watching Matthew compete, whether it was basketball, taekwondo, or lacrosse. They cooked together, and on Sundays watched football. Rick was always rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He was a proud father, and loved talking about the amazing young man he has become.

Rick met his match and partner for life, Jennifer Malone, in 1992. Among many things, she shared his love of sports and cooking. They loved to spend time with family and traveling with friends, both old and new.

Rick loved the spirit of competition, whether it was playing volleyball, golf, competitive ping pong or being the master of corn hole. He was an amazing cook, and his meals and sauces were chef worthy. Rick was the orchestrator of many practical jokes and was always the life of the party.

Rick is survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Malone; beloved son, Matthew; sisters, Kathy Viscariello and husband Angelo, Cindy Peyton and husband Tom; and cherished nieces and nephews.

Rick will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who were blessed to know him.
