To the Chance family, I worked for a time as a young Charlotte Police Officer under the supervision of Sgt. Richard Chance. He taught all of us who worked for him many lessons about proper police work. He had a great sense of humor and was a "good one" to work for. I know you will grieve and miss him, but soon and very soon we as "believers" will see him again on streets of gold and have a great reunion.

Diane:  Gary and I are saddened at the loss of Richard.  He was a wonderful man and even though we didn't see you guys very often, we feel lucky to have  you as neighbors.
