He was a graduate of Harding High School and was a warehouse manager with The Fox Company in Charlotte, a distributor of industrial sewn-products equipment, parts and supplies.
A Vietnam Veteran, Rick served his country in the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed motorcycles, music, camping, reading and hikes on the local nature trails.
He was an avid fan of UNC Tarheels and liked to fellowship with other military vets at the local pup.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles Holton and his mother, Faye Holton.
He is survived by his sister, Debra Holton and multiple family pranksters.
R.I.P. Rick, we love you dearly and you will truly be missed.
